On the hottest part of the year my AC went down. The blower motor was fried. I had Peterman Brothers membership and they are usually good to help. However, they booked me four days out and I called SUMMERS and they were out in hours. Fixed the problem, replaced the motor and got cold AC running in minutes!

Brad came quickly and diagnosed my mystery leak. Hot water heater draining under my wall. In a couple hrs a new one was installed and water was flowing again. Fair price. Kind, respectful, prompt service. Would recommend!

Our AC went out when it was 95 degrees out. Joe Stephens showed up within a 1/2 hour of me making the appointment, diagnosed and fixed it within another 20 minutes. Great service at a great price!

This company has given me nothing but problems. When paying for the maintenance plan you expect when they come out and they see something that’s not right that they will fix it. That was not the case. Here they missed a huge problem which ended up destroying the floors and the downstairs bathroom in my home, that took months to repair. A lot of the fixes to problems that weren’t really there were also incorrect, resulting in broken parts. This winter, I was told there was a problem and that part would be ordered and then I literally never heard from them again about it. Besides Vaughn and Ashley ( who are the best people there) every interaction I’ve had with a technician has resulted in some kind of major issue with some level of incompetence. Just yesterday I was quoted $1500 to fix a line and add refrigerant. I reached out to the general manager Jimmy who promptly said he would get back to me. He never did! I called another company. They were out first thing this morning and fixed the 1500$ problem for $800!!! This is summer price Gouging at its finest. Extremely disappointing. I’ve always been kind to each and every technician that’s been in my home, but I do not lay down and accept mistakes made that effect my home or prices that are absolute theft.

Caleb at Summers was absolutely an answer to a prayer today, in person, and late last night, on the phone. Without his help I could not have slept for worrying. In brief, we had a lithium gel battery connected to our back-up sump pump go bad, while we were out, 3 nights ago. There was the smell of rotten eggs (hydrogen sulphide gas) throughout the whole house, when we got home. We had to open every door and window. Believing it to be something else, I called out a local A/C technician from Summers, who correctly diagnosed the problem, but couldn't do much more, that night. I personally disconnected everything, because the battery was dangerously hot. Believing the unit to be under guarantee, I called out my 'old plumbers', who had installed both my pumps, the next day. I had reported the hydrogen sulphide gas leak to them as well, and they sent out an assessor to diagnose the problem. He plugged the system back in, (it seemed okay for now) but recommended a replacement of the backup sump unit, or both units, that very afternoon, for immediate peace of mind, and I almost agreed. The back up pump was 4 years old. However, I decided to do some research, first. Pretty quickly I discovered that the battery back up was now quite dangerous and as 'Summers' was local and had been so helpful, I rang them in a panic. Caleb called me as soon as he was free and talked me through disconnecting the back up battery from the A/C and making it safe. Then he came today and ran tests on both pumps through a monitor and the mains circuit, to ascertain that both pumps were fine, and cycling within limits. It was just the battery that was bad. It turned out these lithium gel batteries can be very dangerous if they are not maintained as they can overheat or get 'overcharged'. The gas leak was dodgy enough, but these things can explode!!! He recommended a self maintenance battery as a replacement and in the meantime he set the pumps to work in an alternating series. In this way I'm good until I organize the new battery replacement. Caleb has saved us a fortune and he was so good about explaining everything. I went back to my old plumber to explain that I won't be installing new units, and why. You couldn't ask for a more helpful or reassuring technician than Caleb. I can't thank him enough. I've signed up for a maintenance plan with Summers and I won't be looking for another plumber, anytime soon!
