Don’t let the rundown building scare you like it did us. We almost left. But OMG it was the best BBQ we had ever had. Juicy and very flavorful. The banana pudding was amazing as well. Not a lot of seating, it’s obvious people do pick up mostly. We drove an hour to try it and will definitely go back.

My first time there. Had to have some brisket! I must say, it was some of the best brisket I've ever had. Visually appealing! Fork tender, beautiful smoke ring and superb smoky flavor. 5 stars all the way, 6 if you'd let me! Fast service, and really nice staff. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars overall: I was disappointed with the mac and cheese. As much effort as they put into the meats, I was hoping for some more than rotini and Velveeta for $4. Y'all can do better! Also, the spicy and sweet sauces added a nice balance to the brisket, although I suspect they were from a jar, rather than homemade. Nevertheless, I will recommend Nerdy to everyone and will become a repeat customer. Well done!

I've been to their food truck before but this was my first trip to their physical location. I enjoyed all the memorabilia on display. It fits with the vibe. It strikes a little like more of a carry out place vs a dine in spot. Tables outside are unusable and an eyesore. Personally I'd probably just toss them. To the food. Their product is very good. We ordered 3 meats with 3 sides. Brisket, burnt ends, and ribs were great. They definately shine with their proteins. Their sides (baked beans, green beans, and mac and cheese) were kind of mediocre. My minor nit pick, is we ordered in, but they still crammed everything in 1 Styrofoam container. I guess that's OK in to go orders, but they had trays. Toss a piece of butcher paper on a tray and space it out a bit. As an avid smoker myself, it kind of sucks to see so much effort go into the product and not stick the landing.
Highly recommend the proteins. The prices are good. They could just shore up a few things and they'd be great.

In my top 3 restaurants for the anderson area. Meats are great quality with good sauces. Unique atmosphere and service is quick. Portion sizes are generous and a 2 meat platter is enough for me to take leftovers home.
I'm not a huge fan of the sides, but that may just be my preference. Still overall gets 5* from me.

Food was amazing. Brisket was the best i have ever had. The pulled pork was juicy and tender. The pulled chicken was flavorful. The coleslaw was out of this world. 10/10 best BBQ place i been to and I been to alot.
