My first time there. Had to have some brisket! I must say, it was some of the best brisket I've ever had. Visually appealing! Fork tender, beautiful smoke ring and superb smoky flavor. 5 stars all the way, 6 if you'd let me! Fast service, and really nice staff. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars overall: I was disappointed with the mac and cheese. As much effort as they put into the meats, I was hoping for some more than rotini and Velveeta for $4. Y'all can do better! Also, the spicy and sweet sauces added a nice balance to the brisket, although I suspect they were from a jar, rather than homemade. Nevertheless, I will recommend Nerdy to everyone and will become a repeat customer. Well done!

In my top 3 restaurants for the anderson area. Meats are great quality with good sauces. Unique atmosphere and service is quick. Portion sizes are generous and a 2 meat platter is enough for me to take leftovers home.
I'm not a huge fan of the sides, but that may just be my preference. Still overall gets 5* from me.

The meats were awesome -- brisket was perfectly cooked and the point melted in my mouth. So good! Might be best smoked wings I've ever had.
Met the owner. Super nice and super people focused.
Atmosphere is comic book collector/gamer quirky.
Come early before they run out of meats.

We discovered Nerdy BBQ today. 5 of us ordered lunch. We all ordered different things. We had pulled pork, chicken, baked potato with mac and cheese and brisket, burnt ends and ribs. Everything was excellent. The ribs are some of the best ribs I've had. The burnt ends were so tender and flavorful. This BBQ rivals or beats QL's BBQ that was in Muncie back in the day. I am already planning my next visit :). Thank you for the wonderful food.

My, sisters and I are in town visiting family we are from Missouri we googled places to eat and Nerdy BBQ came up we were tired from our drive and ordered a takeout. We, ordered a 3 meat platter with 2 sides and an extra side consisting of pulled pork, ribs that actually fell off the bone, green beans, baked beans and slaw it was amazing we thoroughly enjoyed it and even had leftovers. We, highly recommend this place. We, were so hungry we forgot to take pictures 😊
