First off, I have used Mr. Rooter for small jobs before, and they have been pleasant to work with and seemingly fair on price. I used them last year when my sewage line was blocked. They came out and attempted to jet the line but were unsuccessful and had to install a clean out, which cost 7k. I, being unknowledgeable in plumbing, assumed the line was clear after the clean out was installed. A year later my home has an inspection done and there were large root balls in the line despite me having paid for a jetting a year ago. I called them to see if it was under warranty. It was not and they told me it would be $800 for the jetting. I hired them to do it. At the end of it they tried to sell me on something that after having a second opinion I was informed I actually did not need. This was very discouraging.
On a positive note, the service technician Gerry that came out to do the jetting was fabulous! He seemed sincere and was very helpful and informative. Would use him again if it wasn't through this company.

I had Mr. Rooter out on April 20 and he gave me a price on doing the clean out. I gave him a check for $2200 and then in the same day I changed my mind because I found a much cheaper price and I have never gotten my return check and it's now May 7. So how could I be pleased?

Service was excellent. Ryan, the assigned plumber was very professional and explained in detail what needed to be done. I felt that Ryan went above and beyond what we have come to expect from service providers.

Our technician was absolutely amazing! He knew exactly what to do to figure out what the problems were with the water heater. He was very respectful and did not try to talk down to me at all. Being elderly, you can’t imagine how I really appreciate that from a young guy. He took pictures and examined the whole water heater all the while explaining everything he was doing and what he found. I was so thankful that you sent a technician who knew what he was doing.
