Will never give them business again. They installed a brand-new gas water heater at my house in 2021. I came home to a garage that smelled like gas on the day of the install and had to call the gas company out to identify the issue. The gas company quickly saw that McConnell overtightened the gas line that runs to the control valve and cracked the valve nut causing a gas leak. I called McConnell and they came out and fixed the issue, but I could tell they used a second hand, old control valve (picture attached) to replace the brand-new control valve on the water heater. I will admit to being naive and thinking nothing of it at the time. Fast forward 4 years and the pilot light on my water heater went out. I called McConnell out to the house to address the issue. They had to replace the old, secondhand control valve they used to initially replace the brand-new control valve they broke. I later received an invoice for $750 for the issue. A large part of the bill was for the gas control valve replacement part. I believe that a new gas control valve should last 8-12 years and that my control valve went out because they used a second-hand used replacement. I called them and told them I did not think it was fair to have to cover the cost of the valve replacement part, but I would be happy to pay for the labor. Anne, the office manager, was extremely rude and even accused me of lying by saying "how do I know we put a used part on your new water heater". She told me I must pay the full bill and that I should have reported the issue back in 2021. Once again, I will take the blame for being naive back in 2021, but I do not think it is fair to charge customers for an error the company created. Culligan water has even told me the gas control valve looks really old and beat up for being on a 4-year-old water heater. I have a furnace and ac unit original to my house in 1993, and McConnell lost that business when the time comes to replace it.

My wife called me while I was on my way home from work and said the tub had backed up. I dreaded the worst case scenario. I called McConnell and they were able to get to me within the hour. The technicians Keagan and Cameron did a very effective job of clearing out the drain, set me at ease for worst case scenario, and stayed to make sure things were draining properly. I'd definitely recommend them.

This is a fantastic company. Everyone, every time has been helpful, honest and dependable. I have had the privilege of using them on several of our homes and commercially, I will not think of using anyone else. If you’re looking for a company that does what they say they will, stands behind their work, and honest, do yourself a favor and call them for your problems.

Update: Another 5 stars for McConnell plumbing. Our main supply line started leaking & flooded our crawlspace. The ground was frozen so the water remained. Once again, I tried my regular plumber, & once again they were unavailable. So much for being a "Platinum Member".
I called McConnell Plumbing next & even though they were booked, they kindly made room in their schedule to dig up my front yard & fix the leak.
I'm so grateful to these people & from now on they will be my first call when I need a plumber.

They answered the phone when I called, had someone available when I needed, did the work efficiently, & charged a fair price. McConnell is just the best, they set the bar for service and expertise. The two gentlemen that came to my house were just that, perfect gentlemen who treated me with respect and took me seriously even though I know virtually nothing about plumbing. They explained things in a way that I could understand without being condescending in the least.
They were realistic about space requirements, yet resourceful with space limitations. They were nonjudgmental about all the paraphernalia that had accumulated in the basement and furnace room.
Even if you have to go on a waiting list for service, they are worth the wait — they do beautiful work!
