    This is a fantastic company. Everyone, every time has been helpful, honest and dependable. I have had the privilege of using them on several of our homes and commercially, I will not think of using anyone else. If you’re looking for a company that does what they say they will, stands behind their work, and honest, do yourself a favor and call them for your problems.

    Update: Another 5 stars for McConnell plumbing. Our main supply line started leaking & flooded our crawlspace. The ground was frozen so the water remained. Once again, I tried my regular plumber, & once again they were unavailable. So much for being a "Platinum Member". I called McConnell Plumbing next & even though they were booked, they kindly made room in their schedule to dig up my front yard & fix the leak. I'm so grateful to these people & from now on they will be my first call when I need a plumber. Original Review: October 2023 I've lived in Anderson my entire life. I've hired many plumbers over the years. My first experience with McConnell Plumbing was my first 5-star experience with a plumber. They answered the phone when I called, had someone available when I needed, did the work efficiently, & charged a fair price. I'm thrilled to be able to offer this 5-star review & recommend McConnell Plumbing above other local plumbers.

    Chuck and Eric McConnell are the best. Very professional and know their business. They are prompt to respond we have an “emergency”. We recommend them without hesitation. Totally deserve a 5 star rating.

    this is from my sister who does not leave feedback directly: McConnell is just the best, they set the bar for service and expertise. The two gentlemen that came to my house were just that, perfect gentlemen who treated me with respect and took me seriously even though I know virtually nothing about plumbing. They explained things in a way that I could understand without being condescending in the least. They were realistic about space requirements, yet resourceful with space limitations. They were nonjudgmental about all the paraphernalia that had accumulated in the basement and furnace room. Even if you have to go on a waiting list for service, they are worth the wait — they do beautiful work!

    work done on first visit- replaced duel flush on front bathroom toilet. severely crack undermount sink when knocked tank lid into sink. checked main sewer line in back yard- looked ok. inspected toilet in back bathroom- was leaking onto floor. looked like leak at base. after checking main seal and other parts, found leak from the bolts and water running to front of toilet. had trouble getting leak to stop- replaced several bolts, including bolts from our second duel flush replacement kit. now have missing bolts in kit. was told they would replace sink as soon as they could. it took a week to come back. in the meantime, the back toilet started leaking again. repaired leak for second time, a week later when they came to replaced undermount sink in front bathroom. we were charged almost $500.00 ($385.00 for labor). first visit used 2 hours of labor and second visit used 1 1/2 hours. it is $110.00/hr labor charge. did send a letter inclosed with payment. we questioned the plumbers why charge so much labor on second visit. chuck knew just what was wrong with leaky toilet- bolts. why did it take 1 1/2 hrs to just fix the 1 leak that he knew about, yet 2 hours to check and repair all on first visit. he was there for a while like first visit - most of the time was removing old sink and installing new sink. mcconnell says they did not charge labor for installing sink yet how can it take 1 1/2 hrs for just a leaky bolt and 2 hrs for a whole list of repairs on the first visit? we were told they did not charge labor for the sink repair. the invoice listed sink with no charge but did not list labor for installation-no charge. we asked them to explain and verify what did he do during that 1 1/2 hr of time. they did not do so. we wanted to talk to chuck mcconnell the owner- we were told he was too busy to call us. the office told us she asked him and he said the labor was right. it was a hardship for my husband to go a week without a sink. he suffers from several terminal illnesses and can only walk to front bathroom. going a week was along time. i asked why our repair was not made apriority since it was their error. i had been told several times they were not sure when they could come- had emergency and unsure when completed- today, tomorrow. thought they would be more concerned to repair sink and make it more urgent. because of the high bill, i did not pay right away as i usually do. i set it aside and my error, forgot about it until weeks later. (did have a lot going on with my husband). we were charged a late fee. i questioned the amount- it states on invoice they charge 2% per month late fee. i did the math and noticed they charged about $4.00 more. i did call as soon as i got message from them. wanted to talk to same office person but got another. she was not too helpful. i got amount due. mailed total payment asap with letter mentioning all our questions. got call from office. not very helpful. could not get chuck to call us and could not verify labor charges. mentioned late fee. she was not very understanding and insisted late fee was due. i never got chance to question the amount and she did not mention it. I would have paid bill right away if I did not have all the questions about the amount due. bottom line is that they got their money and we will never use them again. very sorry- thought they were better than that. we give it NO STARS
