Unacceptable and unbelievable. I am a commercial hvac and refrigeration tech and my grandma had this company out to change her humidifier pad filter and while the tech was onsite he inspected the furnace and found a “crack” on the heat exchanger within a couple hours there was a sales guy to her house ready to sell her a full system. Saying how she needs a brand new furnace along with ac because 410a is no longer being manufactured. That gets me first because R22 is still around and it’s been at least 20 years since they stopped manufacturing that. Not a legitimate reason to replace a fully functional ac and coil. Unfortunately I was busy and wasn’t able to get to her and that’s why she had them out but I’m glad I was available this night when he was at her house. I had her have the sales guy leave I headed over looked at the pictures the original service tech who did the diagnoses took. I checked for myself and it somewhat looked like a crack but I wanted to pull the heat exchanger to be sure. Another thing before I continue that’s very aggravating. Jake’s did not attempt to see if the unit was under warranty before beginning to try and upsell her. Took me 10 min to find out the heat exchanger had a 10 year parts and secondary had a 40 year warranty parts. System is only 8 years old.
Ordered warranty party went back and pulled her heat exchanger and found no leaks no cracks the crack he found was a scratch from the factory nothing penetrating the interior channel. Which made me even more upset. Honestly so sad that companies are like this one nowadays. Taking advantage of an elderly woman. I’m just glad it was brought to my attention the crap the techs were doing before it was too late. Unreal this company lacks integrity and overall morally. Imagine this being your grandmother who is trying to be sold a 10,000$ piece of equipment for no reasons. Folks please in my professional advice always get a second and third opinion companies do this all the time and it’s ridiculous.

(Full disclosure: I am a local home owner. I am not being compensated in any capacity for this positive review. While I was offered a small credit on my bill from Jake's for putting a sign in my front yard, that does not extend to this review. This review is entirely my own free thoughts.)
I would give 10 stars if I could. I was told by a different company that I needed to replace my sewer line under the street and would be responsible for repaving the street. Told me it would be $19,000. My worries certainly didn't go down the drain with them.
I knew I needed a second opinion. I asked around and Jake's came highly recommended by both a realtor friend of mine and a project manager at a local construction company. I called Jake's and they were able to provide me a free second opinion. Every person I spoke to and met with Jake's was extremely nice and professional. Shout out to both Chad and John who came to my house. Both very kind and knowledgeable plumbers. Chad came to my house after the clog was removed to do a camera inspection of my sewer line and confirmed that it was in good condition and did not need any further service. Amber, the service manager, was so helpful and transparent in explaining my options over the phone to me and answered all my questions. I cant recommend them enough. Having a contractor you can trust means the world, and Jake's definitely earned my trust this week.

Highly recommend Jake’s for plumbing work! My technician Chris M was great! Got my plumbing issue fixed and communicated what was going on during the whole process. Actually took the time to try and fix my issue rather than just give me an outrageous quote for a bunch of work unrelated to my issue like a different company did. Would also like to give a huge shout out to the staff in the office for such exceptional customer service! The office staff clearly values their customers based on my experience with them! 10/10 highly recommend Jake’s and if I ever run into any other issues, they will be my first call!

So many great and timely repairs, that we became monthly members! Josh has worked on and maintained our HVAC unit multiple times and Donnie repaired a plumbing issue we had recently. Every experience has been smooth and handled quickly! It's great to finally have a company and technicians I can trust with our home projects at prices that are very reasonable. So happy with the service and discounts/perks being a member have brought us!

Donnie and Lance were both fantastic getting us taken care of. Our water heater went out and we were able to make an appointment the next day, and they got our service done that day too! We weren’t without hot water for 24 hours! Both were extremely friendly with great customer service as well. Donnie also left us a very nice voicemail complimenting our son. We just appreciate the overall great service and Donnie taking the time to put that in our voicemail just shows one of the reasons we are very pleased with their service. We will eventually have to replace our heat/air system and will definitely use them in the future again! I highly recommend them for any service needs! Thank you again Donnie and Lance!!!
