I hired hope plumbing to come out and replace a hot water heater and re plumb the piping.
Austin was the main tech that came out. He took his time explaining all the work he was going to do. After the job, he explained everything he did and how my hot water heater was set up now.
We had some crazy piping for our hot water heaters and he replaced all of it and cleaned it up. (See before and after pics.)
He and his partner did an outstanding job and ensured that I did not have any more questions before leaving. I highly recommend Hope Plumbing and Austin.

Hope Plumbing was highly recommended and I wasn't disappointed. I had a lot of sediment coming through the pipes and wanted to get to the bottom of it. Ron came out, did a tour of the whole plumbing system and found a number of issues. Then after explaining a lot of what he was doing and had found, he wrote up multiple quotes with different options.
This house came with a tankless water heater. which I had never experienced before - and it was electric. I didn't understand why that was a big deal until we looked in to breaker box and found it was taking up 4 40 amp circuits, which was 3/4 of the entire 200 amp service. No wonder the lights flickered whenever I used hot water. I anticipate the electric bill going way down now that I've been switched to a gas unit.
Another thing I didn't know is that having a tankless water heater means there's no place for the chewy Indianapolis water's sediment to go but into the aerators of the faucets. So I ended up needing a water softener as well, something I would never have figured out on my own.
Along with this, the previous owner had mixed galvanized and copper piping below the house - which causes corrosion to form - and downsized the main lines to 1/2 inch, but later turning them back to 3/4. This permanently reduces your flow rate.
All these things were explained and I asked several questions. On top of that, Ron took before and after pictures which will be very helpful for documenting the changes.

I am so thankful I found Hope Plumbing when I did! Our water heater went out unexpectedly and we were without hot water when it was still cold outside. They came out the next day and had phenomenal communication throughout the entire experience. Anthony and Tim did an amazing job with their services. They were extremely professional and efficient with their work. They explained all of the issues with our water heater and gave us multiple options to choose from so we were able to make a decision together after knowing all of our options. They were kind to us and so sweet to our puppy as well. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an efficient and financially transparent plumber.

Hope plumbing did an absolute amazing job on repairing our shower. Our technician Ron Snelbaker went above and beyond to make our shower right and looking way better than what it was..
