The food here is suberb, but today I want to talk about the room rental services. We reserved the room at the cafe for our son’s 7th birthday party and purchased light catering for mid-afternoon. All of our guests loved the food we had (mac & cheese, fruit, cookies, and monster cookies) and several of them also grabbed lunch before or dinner after! We had plenty of time to set up and were so glad to decorate for the party’s theming. The proximity to the small playground by Ford’s garage was also perfect for our kiddos to run off some energy during the party. My son and I were SO excited to see that the monster cookies had been decorated like pokemon! We weren’t sure if that was a possibility so I just didn’t think to ask, but I was truly so impressed with your cookie decorators’ skills! So many of our guests asked us about booking a party there and I would recommend it to anyone — we are already considering it for next year! Thank you so much!
Walked in to get a slice of cake. Completely ignored by staff for several minutes despite making eye contact many times. Walked over to the ice cream area where others were getting serviced, read the sign that says the “line begins at other side of pie.” My daughter and I proceeded to go to the designated area. Another couple walks in, they look around at the baked goods much like we did. Then they go to line up by the ice cream, as the worker appears to walk their way, I kindly asked, “where are we supposed to line up?” With some rudeness, she responded with “I guess right there.” I ask her a question, let her know which cake slice I wanted. Go to check out, she asks “is that all?” I reply, “yes, that is all.” After paying and placing my slice in the take out bag, she proceeded to slam the cake in front of me. When I asked for my receipt, even more rudeness and attitude followed. You might want to retrain your employees (all of those present in the front at 8 pm on 8/8/2026) on customer service. It baffles me how polite and welcoming I was as a customer, to be treated the way my daughter and I were. For what reason, I still don’t know.
We go here about once a week and have never been disappointed. The employees are always nice, the food is always good, and the store is always clean. There's also tons of special offers and rewards to earn free items or get something for your birthday. They also have very fair prices. You can get a whole gourmet cake for just a little more than the cost at a grocery store.
Really wonderful food. I had the broccoli cheddar soup and club sandwich and they were both great. I also picked up a piece of chocolate cake and it was amazing. Nice, clean place, too. I will definitely be back.
We have been Homemade regulars since they opened. In the last year the quality is just noticeably starting to go down hill. The exception being, their deserts are still amazing. The bbq salad used to hit so hard. Now it’s like 90 percent lettuce. The chicken is just not super fresh anymore. The croissants absolutely suck now. The salad with tax/tip is $18.
