Love this place. Being from the UK this place is pretty close to creating an atmosphere that feels like home. The staff are super lovely and friendly and remember my name and have my drink sat at the bar by the time I’ve walked in and sat down. The soccer is always on and the atmosphere is great when they open early for the games. Very nice support structure to each other and you can tell by the way the staff look out for each other. They all have their super cool bar / soccer related t shirts on and they enjoy a shot or two with the clientele. Food is awesome if a little pricey nowadays. Highly recommend the wings. Best wings in town in my personal opinion. That signature sauce!!! Yum!!!

From Manager Dave to all of his staff this place has a true English pub feel on the north side of Indy. True people might see me as one of the Arsenal guys (and gals) that gathers there for the matches but it’s truly because the staff make it feel like home. Ironically I am entering this review from London and the pub I just went to last night won awards here for a good pint - but you’ll not find a more authentic place than CTF for your visit.

We ordered take out…the wings were really good. Everything else was not even worth eating. The fries, bland and I imagine straight from a freezer bag (tasted stale/freezer burnt) and the pizza was honestly disgusting. We got a small chicken ranch pizza. The chicken was the most dry chicken I’ve ever had from any restaurant EVER, a rubber-like texture and absolutely no sauce or seasoning whatsoever. I was pretty excited to try this “Irish pub” and to say we are disappointed would be an understatement. Sadly, I would not return or recommend.

Went in on Friday for lunch and a beer and we sat for awhile before being greeted. The bartender/server finally came over and had zero enthusiasm, excited or whatever you want to call it, and she took our drink order and got our beers in a reasonably amount of time but she didn’t end up coming back to ask us for our lunch order for a good 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile we watched her walk somewhat by 3-4 or times with zero acknowledgement and when she went back to the bar, she started cutting lemons. When we looked over she coughed or sneezed in her hands and went back to grabbing the lemons. Not a great look for Chatham Tap. Went there for lunch to get the wings and ended up paying for the beers and leaving to go to Ale. The staff was so unfriendly and looked like she was miserable to be there. Awful service and if you are a germaphobe, this place isn’t for you. If I was the owner, I would want to know what kind of service my customers were receiving. Maybe she was having a bad. Who knows but they weren’t busy at all. Now I know why! lol

Wow!! The wings, the war hog, the WINGS!
The food was absolutely delicious, the decor/feel very authentic.
Large portions and one of the best tenderloins I’ve ever had.
The only thing we didn’t like was the fish and chips, the batter on the fish was so thick. It was like a tiny piece of fish in a biscuit/fitter.
Skip the fish and chips get the wings and war hog!
