Called S&B to perform a maintenance service on our 3 year old system. We picked them based on the positive reviews, being local in Pendleton and from a personal recommendation.
Shane was professional, communicated well, was on time and did the work while sharing some suggestions for our setup. Overall, a great experience so it was a no-brainer to sign up for an annual maintenance program.
Love dealing with a business where you feel you’re getting real value after the work is done.

I posted an a message on my HOA page asking for AC repair business recs and it was pretty unanimous that S&B was the company to go with. I also did quote through one additional company but they didnt make feel as good as S&B did. S&B did not try to automatically sell me on a new unit , even though my unit was 23 yrs old. Shane actually took time to look at the unit and see what we can do to try to save it, but at the end if the day I chose to replace the unit without doing any of the band-aid repairs. Im so relived i did this. The stress of never knowing if my unit was going to die mid winter or summer is gone.
Shane will talk you through everything and be very transparent about everything. I Also want to shoutout to the install techs Xia and Mason. They arrived on time , and were super friendly. Didn’t mind me popping out a few times through the install and walked me through what they were doing . Amazing dudes. Everything looks so good and has been working great. It’s a night and day difference and I’m really excited I went with S&B to get this work done. 5 star will recommend them to everyone I know!

We had a very short turn around time on an HVAC inspection. Shane was professional and worked us in quickly. His prices were incredibly competitive and had had a report to us within minutes of completing the inspection. I cannot recommend S&B enough.

Shane R. with S&B Heating & Cooling truly stands out when it comes to honesty and customer service. He took the time to clearly explain what was going on with our system and made sure we understood the real root of the issue. After replacing the compressor, he identified that the TXV was actually the root cause of everything but also explained there was no way to diagnose that problem beforehand because the compressor had already failed.
What really impressed us was his integrity. Even though this repair would normally cost a significant amount, he worked with us and understood that we were already investing in a major repair. He went above and beyond and saved us over $1500 in additional repair cost, which we really appreciated after already dealing with a major expense. That kind of fairness and transparency is hard to find.
Shane didn’t just fix the problem, he made sure we felt informed, taken care of, and not taken advantage of. His customer service is top-notch, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about doing right by his customers. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Shane for a free second opinion on a total system replacement that another company recommended. We were told we needed a new furnace due to a split in the heat exchanger. We did not have any splits in our heat exchanger when Shane inspected it. Shane was honest and showed us that our furnace was fine and did not need to be replaced. I appreciate his quick response and honesty. He has my future business. I highly recommend you contact him.
