My experience with Ashpaugh Electric was over the top. It started with an evaluation by JR & an estimate by the owner, Brian.
My service included an electrical service upgrade, an underground service to a detached garage, hot water heater electrical circuitry, and an AC disconnect installation. (We’re talking about a house built in the early 1950’s.)
The pricing was fair & reasonable. (One company’s estimate was DOUBLE that of Ashpaugh’s.)
I absolutely love that this company is local & family-owned.
It took 3 days to complete the work. Every day, I received a text that Steve, JR, & Josiah were on their way. They were all professional, courteous, on-time, and did quality work. Communication was very good - all the way from Brian, the owner, his amazing office gal Leona, down to Steve, JR, & Josiah.

JR and Joesiah did an excellent job with my lighting installation. They were professional, efficient, and very respectful of my home. I really appreciated that they wore shoe covers the entire time and made sure to keep everything clean while they worked.
They also took away all the boxes and packaging from the light fixtures, which made the whole process so much easier for me. The installation looks great, and everything works perfectly.
I would definitely use this company again if I ever need something fixed or installed :)

Great service and quality work at a reasonable price. Sam and Brennan replaced our chandelier on an 18 ft ceiling and did a great job! They worked with us to determine the perfect height, took care when hanging a delicate fixture, and were clean and respectful of our home. I was able to talk with owner when scheduling and to get questions answered and appreciate working with a locally owned business with a strong reputation.

I called Ashpaugh with a list of tasks, which included hanging a new ceiling fan, adjusting/securing a few light fixtures, and a light switch issue. Steve and JR were awesome! They were able to take care of all of our needs. I appreciated how they were open with communication while working through our list. This was my first time using Ashpaugh, but I will absolutely be using them again going forward. Highly recommend!!

I recently had a full house safety inspection performed by JR from Ashpaugh Electric, and I could not be happier with the experience. From start to finish, JR was exceptionally professional and demonstrated a thorough understanding of the electrical systems in our home.
He arrived right on time, which I truly appreciate. Throughout the entire inspection, JR was incredibly courteous, taking the time to answer all of my questions and explain his findings clearly. He was also remarkably clean while working, making sure to leave every area he accessed in pristine condition. It is clear that JR takes great pride in his craft, and his attention to detail gave me complete peace of mind regarding the safety of our home.
