I hired this company to repair my weatherhead after a tree damaged my electrical service. The actual repair seemed to go well, and at the time I was happy with the electrician’s work.
Unfortunately, the communication afterward was extremely disappointing. It took seven phone calls and three voicemails over the course of about a month before I finally received a receipt for the work I had already paid for. I also wanted to hire the same electrician (Dallas) for additional work, but multiple calls went unanswered.
To make matters worse, when I cleaned my gutters a month later, I found the old weatherhead and metal debris left inside my gutter. I would have expected the old materials to be disposed of properly, taken with the electrician, or at the very least left on the ground where I could easily find them. instead, they were left in my gutter where I didn't discover them until I cleaned it. Leaving construction debris behind is especially in a gutter is unprofessional and disappointing.
Good workmanship is only part of good customer service. Being responsive, providing documentation in a timely manner, and returning calls are basic expectations. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend this company due to the lack of communication and follow-through.

I appreciate the clarification that this was considered a “side job.” However, as a customer, I had no reason to know that. Dallas was employed by Freedom Electric, provided me with a Freedom Electric business card, and when I needed a receipt for my insurance claim, I contacted Freedom Electric’s office and received a receipt bearing the company’s name and logo.
Based on those interactions, I reasonably believed I was working with Freedom Electric. My review reflects my experience with communication, obtaining the receipt I needed for my insurance claim, and the follow-up after the work was completed.

Freedom Electric was Awesome. Dallas thank you so much for your help. My parents passed and I didn't know much about the electric in garage. Dallas came and figured it out in minutes. I recommend these guys! 5 stars for sure

The best experience! Needed something for my daughter and posted on FB. They reached out and offered to help, but also tried to help her trouble shoot the issue without charging her if possible. This is the benefit of small local businesses like this one! Very responsive! Would recommend for sure!

Fantastic service! I had an emergency issue with the house electrical panel smelling like it was on fire. Freedom got the job because they answered my call at 2 am on a Sunday morning. First thing in the morning, one of the guys graciously left personal business and replaced the aging electrical panel in my house. That said, I believe the price was a bit high but worth it to me to work through the night with a company that clearly cares about their customers. A job well done!

Great service with quick response! Very customer friendly service and the process was easy. I recommend for future jobs and will be utilizing the company for all needs going forward! Had breakers replaced on panel box that broke/faulty.
