I love this place. Meridian dental is a place that sees probably some of the worst cases of poor dental hygiene due to the population of people that they see. I was skeptical of using a facility who saw Medicaid patients as a majority of their population. I wasn't sure I was going to get the most skilled physicians. I WAS WRONG.
Because they are accustomed to helping some of the worst cases, I got the best work up that I've received in a long time. Kudos to the dental hygienist Lora who is the bomb.com.
I had to do some dental planning due to experiencing some. Periodontal gum disease and she made it painless compared to another facility that was very painful. I highly recommend them

While I cant argue about the price the experience was totally BAD. I made an appointment because I had part of a filling fall out and they could get me in in a few days. then called back to get in earlier. Which they did. The "dentist" I seen was totally unprofessional. First thing she says is "I dont like taking other doctors patients " I told her since I hadn't seen anyone yet that I wasn't someone else's patient. She then proceeds to drill out the rest of my filling then tells me it needs to be extracted! Said the root was fractured. Or I needed an implant. Said it cant be crowned because it is crooked!!! I told her my other crown was crooked to and that one got crowned. She put in a temporary filling saying g she couldn't put in a regular one because it was cracked. Fas forward to today. I went to a REAL dentist for a different issue. 40million exrays later, inspection by the dentist and it is being crowned. NO CRACK and it is STILL crooked! I think I would have a few drunk friends attempt dental work before I ever go back there.
Run dont walk.

Great place for basic needs. If something is beyond the providers, the providers can refer instead of trying to do something complex and not doing well for the patient.

I went to Meridian Dental today on Ohio Ave. I used to get my dental work done there, and I came back because now they do dental crowns. Everything is done on a "sliding scale" for payment. I've always been impressed with the care I've received.
The receptionist was helpful and courteous. The dental assistant answered all my questions. Dr. Jung was very thorough in examining my x-rays and teeth. He spent a lot of time answering my questions and educating me on dental care.
Although my insurance covers many different dentists, I'll continue going to Meridian Dental. I was impressed.
