My first time there. Had to have some brisket! I must say, it was some of the best brisket I've ever had. Visually appealing! Fork tender, beautiful smoke ring and superb smoky flavor. 5 stars all the way, 6 if you'd let me! Fast service, and really nice staff. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars overall: I was disappointed with the mac and cheese. As much effort as they put into the meats, I was hoping for some more than rotini and Velveeta for $4. Y'all can do better! Also, the spicy and sweet sauces added a nice balance to the brisket, although I suspect they were from a jar, rather than homemade. Nevertheless, I will recommend Nerdy to everyone and will become a repeat customer. Well done!

In my top 3 restaurants for the anderson area. Meats are great quality with good sauces. Unique atmosphere and service is quick. Portion sizes are generous and a 2 meat platter is enough for me to take leftovers home.
I'm not a huge fan of the sides, but that may just be my preference. Still overall gets 5* from me.

We discovered Nerdy BBQ today. 5 of us ordered lunch. We all ordered different things. We had pulled pork, chicken, baked potato with mac and cheese and brisket, burnt ends and ribs. Everything was excellent. The ribs are some of the best ribs I've had. The burnt ends were so tender and flavorful. This BBQ rivals or beats QL's BBQ that was in Muncie back in the day. I am already planning my next visit :). Thank you for the wonderful food.

Best BBQ! My wife and I moved to Indiana 3 years ago and I have been looking for good BBQ the whole time, and been consistently let down. Today we stopped here and had wings and loaded fries with pulled pork. All outstanding and had a great chat with one of the owners. As we were leaving I went back in and asked about the brisket, and was given a small piece to try. We got a mile down the road and I turned out around and went back and bought brisket and pork to go!! Best brisket I have had, maybe ever. Great guy working, who was running the whole thing alone today and still made time to chat with us, welcome us to town, and gained a return customer for sure! 10/10 experience!

My, sisters and I are in town visiting family we are from Missouri we googled places to eat and Nerdy BBQ came up we were tired from our drive and ordered a takeout. We, ordered a 3 meat platter with 2 sides and an extra side consisting of pulled pork, ribs that actually fell off the bone, green beans, baked beans and slaw it was amazing we thoroughly enjoyed it and even had leftovers. We, highly recommend this place. We, were so hungry we forgot to take pictures 😊
