Cool historical decor inside, however, everything else was dated and the floor was dirty inside.
The tangerine ice cream soft serve was amazing, famous for this I heard. The sloppy Joe was awesome, one of the best I've had, way better than Grandma's!
The prices are great, got both these items for five bucks. They also have a drive-thru which is convenient.

This is my first experience at Jimmy's S dairy bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful and very patient.
There was a large group of us and they were more than happy to take their time. All of the treats were delicious, everyone seemed to be very happy.

I'm not for sure about everyone else's experience but best barbecue in Indiana??? Not so much. Who's idea was it to put mushrooms in the pulled pork? The baked beans were more like watered down pork and beans with I'm not sure why, but celery in them. The fries were pretty good and that's about it. Maybe have a pulled pork sandwich option without mushrooms. Put some more flavor in the baked beans. Maybe I need to try the tenderloin?

Not our favorite drive in ice cream stand. We tried a cheeseburger, Coney dog, hot dog, fried mushrooms, and onion rings. Ever6one liked the coney and hot dog. The cheeseburger was ok. The fried mushrooms were excellent. But the onion rings were bland. We also tried the famous marshmallow coke, but no one thought it was great. For ice cream, we tried the tangerine, the vanilla with brunch, and a scoop of cookie dough. Vanilla and cookie dough were enjoyed by the kids. The tangerine was really good, but we had wished the tangerine flavor were stronger. They seem to use a vanilla base and it tastes more like a creamsicle than tangerine. Still tasty though.

SO BAD… I had to leave my first review. Very pricey for what you get ($6 school cafeteria cheeseburger on a stale bun was charged $1 more for onion/lettuce). They forgot one our drinks with their complicated yell out and leave on the counter system they have implemented. I received 4 average sized onion rings for $4. They forgot one of our coney dogs, so they had to inconveniently throw one in the microwave for us real quick…which left much to be desired.
Drinks were overpriced and filled 3/4 with uncarbonated syrup water and 4 ice cubes. Similar to leaving your drink in the car on a hot summer day…lol
Was excited to try this place out and I was thoroughly disappointed…save your money and eat somewhere else before getting ice cream here.
They only positive was that we all left laughing at the experience…lol
