I am writing this as someone who has spent years in the industry, working the ovens and the lines at Papa John’s on 96th, Pizza King in Pendleton, Pizza Hut, Pizza Magia, and Daddio’s. I am also a state-certified professional server with a current Indiana liquor license and experience at Kona Grill, where I successfully completed The One Group University training. Currently, I work in Home Health Care and hold active AHA First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. I know exactly how a professional establishment should run, from food safety in the kitchen to legal compliance at the bar, and I am acutely aware of the medical dangers of consuming raw products. We went down to listen to the live music, which was absolutely phenomenal—we loved Courteney Cox! Our appetizer, the Buffalo Chicken Dip, was excellent, and my drink was fabulous—I highly recommend the Peach Mule. I am leaving two stars because while the entertainment and starters were great, the main course and the service were unacceptable. We were served a Train Wreck pizza that was completely raw in the center—so undercooked that the dough could be moved and smeared with a fork like wet paste. Another bar server was the one who actually took the pizza and brought it back, but our specific server noticed there was an issue and didn't even bother to ask about it. After sending it back, the kitchen simply 'reheated' it. Because the pizza had already cooled off, the reheat just scorched and burned the crust while leaving the center a gummy, raw mess. I ended up having to take it home and heat it to a proper temperature slowly myself—not to burn it, but to finally get it to a safe temperature where foodborne illnesses would be killed off. I know for a fact that Burt, Sheila, and even Dave Combs would have definitely remade the pie. They understood that quality and food safety come first. The fact that this establishment chose to 'reheat' a raw product instead of firing a fresh one shows a staggering lack of professionalism and a total disregard for food safety procedures. Serving raw flour is a health risk that can lead to serious illness, a fact I deal with daily in my medical line of work. Furthermore, the lack of discipline was evident from where we sat at the bar. Our waitress was busy doing a Jager bomb with the people sitting right next to us. As a licensed professional, I know this is a total disregard for the standards we are trained to uphold. Perhaps if she had been focused on her job instead of drinking on the clock with customers while we sat right there with raw food, she could have addressed the issue correctly the first time. My daughter, showing incredible character, still paid the bill and left a 25% tip. She chose to be a blessing even when the service failed. However, I will not be silent. If you ignore accountability, you're headed for failure and a ruined reputation; but those who accept honest correction are the ones who truly earn respect and success. I know what a good pie is, and I know how a professional establishment should run. I would really love to come back and try the Crab Rangoon Dip and the Tenderloin with waffle fries, so I hope management heeds this correction and honors the legacy of local standards by getting their staff in order. I would hope that if and when I come back, those standards have been raised.

Food was great, service was excellent, atmosphere was great. Very reminiscent of Fox Garden. A great place for drinks and good vibes, a hangout spot for sure. Try the Abby burger, the Philly, or a pizza. They also have wings! Good bar food, great prices, awesome atmosphere.

The atmosphere was nice. Well lit, well decorated. The food was fantastic! I would recommend the crab Rangoon dip, and the Mushroom Swiss burger. They were out of the wine my wife ordered. And i hat the Stable Old Fashion, w/Buffalo trace. Well the drink was very strong. Could’ve been made better. But overall was a good place to eat.

Decided to take a random stop & scooby snack. This is we’re we landed! They literally had just opened for the day & we were immediately welcomed in. It’s a chill spot. And conversation flows just like the beer on tap. Food? Oh yes! Tried the artichoke dip, it’s delicious! Beer nicely chilled. Glad we stopped!

Great atmosphere and set-up. Great drink selection at reasonable prices. Their menu is twice as big as the nearest bars. They have unique appetizers and full on dinners available that pair well with alcoholic drinks! How could you beat that. Servers and bartenders were attentive and very friendly. They looked like actually enjoyed their occupation in life. Also, live music made it all the more better.
